Patron Content Manager 1.0.1 is out and it makes it easier for you to keep your plugin updated by having Patreon WordPress built-in.

This also helps avoid version conflicts and odd behavior. Upgrading is strongly recommended.

IMPROVED PLEDGE HANDLING

Patron Pro now has improved pledge handling when unlocking content. When your patrons try to unlock any content at your site, the grace period at Patreon for the payment method retries is now incorporated into pledge checking. The plugin will now allow access to the content for patrons who have their payment method declined until the grace period runs out. Doing this prevents your patrons from losing access to content as their payment methods are retried, which is a common occurrence.

Due to the importance of this, upgrading to 1.5.1 is strongly recommended as it could address such cases and reduce the patrons who are experiencing problems with accessing content.

LOCKED POST INTERFACE NOW HANDLES ALL CURRENCIES

Now you can add any currency sign at your Patreon Settings menu in your WP admin and Patron Pro will correctly show that currency.

UPDATES FROM INCLUDED PLUGINS

All new updates made to Patreon WordPress were included in Patron Pro.

This update addresses the ‘headers already sent’ error some of you were experiencing. The plugin was capturing whitespace from anywhere inside WordPress (other plugins, theme, wordpress, anything) during initialization phase, and was thinking that this was legitimate output.

The fix prevents this by nullifying whitespace output. 

Updating recommended.

Update: 1.0.5 fix was released in order to prevent old options update code from breaking anything. Strongly recommended to update to 1.0.5
